Chad Pennington jammed up the Jets for sure - I think beating the team that cut you in the last game of the season to determine who wins the division and makes the playoff is a nice Jam Up. Pennington did that.
But my question is, did Pennington Jam Up Brett Favre? Favre jams up everybody. That's what Favre does. It's his job. I could argue that Favre jammed up ESPN by not making the playoffs. Without being able to report on all things Brett Favre, what is ESPN to do during the playoffs?
So, in getting back to Pennington I don't think the Favre v. Pennington thing is personal .However, did he, as he beat the Jets (a Jam Up) jam up Favre by not letting Favre jam up the rest of the world via ESPN with a playoff run?
I know this is convuluted, but we need to know.

it has become obvious that favre was jamming up the jets all season long (his own office? no team dinners?) and thomas jones says he jammed up the team by not sitting on the bench...
but your question regarding pennington is fair. i think the jets jammed up favre by releasing pennington and then allowing him to come back and jam their franchise up. had the jets never waived pennington, he never would have had the chance to destroy favre's eternal quest to dominate ESPN and the world. so the jets jammed themselves and favre up. does that make sense?
