Reporter jams up Lions coach

Lions Coach Rod Marinelli was jammed up on Sunday after the Lions fell to 0-15. Not because of the bad record, but because columnist Rob Parker grilled him about the job his son-in-law Joe Barry is doing as the Lions d-coordinator.

"Do you wish your daughter had married a better defensive coordinator," Parker asked at the post game press conference. Click on the YouTube to watch the whole thing. Marinelli looks pretty jammed up, and while you can't see Parker, he said later that he was joking.

Now, ignore the analysis from the ex-player crew on Fox saying Parker should be fired from his job. That's a bunch of crap. Since Marinelli constantly avoided real questions about Barry's skill as a coach, I think even in mocking, the question serves what fans are thinking.
